Hand-hewn Poplar Bench as seen at Building on Bond in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. These pieces are made from a very large tree that was struck by lightning at my parents' place in Milton, GA. Made with hand tools. Split surface is more durable for outdoor use and becomes very smooth with wear.
